Mellan den 6–16 augusti fylls Helsingborg med körsång i världsklass då över 7.000 sångare från hela världen samlas för tävlingar, workshops och spektakulära konserter då Sverige för första gången står som värd för världens största internationella körtävling: WORLD CHOIR GAMES

Genom musikens universella språk har körsång en unik förmåga att skapa delaktighet och engagemang. Oavsett om din kör är med och tävlar eller om du föredrar att lyssna är möjligheterna många under hela veckan. Från Opening Concert i Helsingborg Arena till alla konserter i stadens konsertsalar, på utomhusscener eller i kyrkorna. Missa inte denna unika möjlighet att mötas i musiken och skapa en pulserande, global och gemensam stad.

Alla är välkomna – åskådare som deltagare, körsång bygger gemenskap och det kommer att finnas massor av tillfällen att kunna lyssna till de olika deltagande körerna. Utöver tävlingarna, kommer det arrangeras friendship concerts, workshops, invignings- och avslutningsceremoni och en stor parad genom Helsingborg City.

Be part of the spectacular opening of the World Choir Games 2026 as Helsingborg welcomes thousands of singers and visitors from across the globe.

Hosted by Moqi Simon Trolin and Katrine Ganer Skaug, the evening is a vibrant celebration of choral music and Sweden’s rich musical heritage. Experience a powerful festival choir, outstanding guest conductors, a live band and a spectacular tribute to Swedish music featuring beloved songs by artists such as ABBA, Per Gessle, Avicii and many more.

The ceremony also features Laila Adèle performing the official World Choir Games song, creating an unforgettable opening night filled with music, pride and international fellowship.

Celebrate the grand finale of the World Choir Games 2026 in an unforgettable evening where music, emotion and international friendship come together.

The Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra takes centre stage alongside participating choirs in a spectacular closing ceremony celebrating ten extraordinary days of music and cultural exchange.

Expect inspiring performances, memorable musical moments and a moving farewell as voices from around the world unite one final time to conclude the festival in style.
